Letter of Thanks:

On behalf of the Board of Directors, staff and students of Youth Enhancement Service (Y.E.S.), we wish to express our sincere appreciation for your support of our 7^th Anniversary Celebration and Fund-raising Banquet, held Saturday, April 4, 2009 at the Holiday Inn Sunspree Resort.

Thanks so much to those of you who were in attendance, we were truly honoured by your presence. We are happy that you could have been a part of the approximately 125 persons, who shared in the elegant yet delightfully informal family atmosphere.  We hope you enjoyed this special moment, which included testimonies and talents of students, entertaining live music by music minister saxophonist Seymour Heron, and especially the humorous yet challenging and captivating presentation of our keynote speaker, Dr. Henley Morgan, as he spoke on the “Emancipation of the Mind”.  MC Mrs. Dionne Lewis “Miss Twinz” professionally held all of this together.

Thanks also to those of you, at home or abroad, who encouraged, prayed, sponsored tickets for students, gave money or gifts, or contributed in so many other ways, but were unable to attend… we know you were present in spirit, and we appreciate you. 

We especially acknowledge the cheerful hearts with which you contributed, and we are aware that for most of you, it was sacrificial.  Admittedly, these are challenging times for everyone, so please know that we do not take this act of giving for granted. 

For the way forward, it is our plan to launch out fervently to establish a partnership base, to ensure that the vision that brought this programme to life is sustained, so our youth will have more than a fighting chance to succeed.  We cannot do this alone, so please consider becoming a consistent partner, as we join hands to liberate the many minds and lives at risk among the youth in our nation. 

It was a blessing that you made the time to share and/or participate with us on this special occasion, and we look forward to a long and fruitful relationship… you are in our prayers.
